What is the Provisioning time?
Normally, it is delivered within 7 days. However, this depends on feasibility, ADL
network status in your area and other technical reports for the installation address.
Do you have a 24 x 7 Call center?
Asianet has set up Customer care centers at 8 locations in Kerala to redress customer
complaints and answer customer queries. Customers can contact their nearest customer
care centers at the following numbers/email
Change of Plan/scheme
You can change your Internet connection plan/scheme to any of the schemes offered
by Asianet by paying an amount of 150( subject to change). A formal written request/email
to the nearest customer care center has to be made for the change. No oral requests
are entertained. A scheme change fee is levied. Contact your nearest customer care
center for details.
Shifting of connections
You can shift your Internet connection to a new location within a city or to any
of the cities in Kerala where Asianet has Internet Services. This is subject to
technical feasibility of giving the connection at the new address. A formal written
request/email to your nearest customer care center has to be made for the change.
No oral requests are entertained. A shifting charge is levied. Contact your nearest
customer care center for details.
Will Asianet provide an Ethernet network card for my PC?
No. Ethernet card with appropriate drivers is customer's responsibility.
Is anti virus or firewall software bundled or provided by Asianet?
No, you need to purchase and maintain anti-virus software
please contact your PC supplier or System integrator.
Modem Warranty
Modems purchased from Asianet carries a warranty of 1 year from the date of installation.
The warranty will be void in case of willful damage to the modem, acts of GOD and
damage due to fire and electrical fluctuations.
Post Warranty Support
Asianet Offers Annual maintenance contract on modems @ Rs 500 for a year or @ Rs
1200 for 3 years. Contact you’re nearest customer care center for details.
What is VoIP?
VoIP refers to the conversion of voice into IP packets and the transport of these
converted voice data packets over the IP network. These voice calls can originate
from an IP-based or, more likely, a TDM-based PBX, POTS line, etc. In a nutshell,
VoIP refers to the transport of voice as data over an IP network. It’s not an application
and does not change or enhance the end-user experience.
